Our vision:
Viable and sustainable agriculture production and trade in Rwanda.
Our mission
To promote sustainable agriculture production and trade, while improving livelihoods for Rwanda’s smallholder farmers’ through cooperation knowledge sharing and market linkage.
We believe in richness of diversity in human personality, culture and contribution.
We mean what we say.
We foresee going beyond Rwanda.
Our customers buy our products based on three main things:
We cultivate pepperonis, tomatoes, and melons in state-of-the-art greenhouses specifically designed for Rwanda's climate conditions.
Our greenhouses provide the advantage of counter-seasonal production. Unlike the traditional open-field farming cycles in Rwanda, which have to be aligned with the rainy seasons. This allows us to offer local ripe vegetables during times when imports typically be necessary.
Just as important, our greenhouses play a vital role in significantly reducing the need for pesticides. The warm and humid climate of Rwanda poses considerable challenges for vegetable growers, often leading to substantial pre- and post-harvest losses. To address this, our greenhouses are equipped with airlock gates that enable us to disinfect and thoroughly screen materials and staff, minimizing the entry of pests. The walls of our greenhouses are deeply embedded in the ground, and the vents are covered with fine mesh netting, effectively reducing the presence of pests. Consequently, we are able to minimize the need for pest control measures. Additionally, we prioritize water conservation and diligently manage any waste, ensuring proper disposal when necessary.
